this just in: my parents will be out of town on halloween. if i were a different person, one with confidence and beauty, and if i had more than two friends, i'd throw a party. instead, i'll scare the fuck out of myself and watch horror movies all night and eat the candy that trick-or-treaters don't take. i've never even been to a party like the ones every teenager and young adult goes to. i'll probably ask my father to get me alcohol before they leave so i can have at least a little bit of a good time, even if i'm alone.
